رسالتي اليوم الى الرئيس الامريكي#Joe_Biden حول العدوان الاسرائيلي على #غزة

,Dear Mr President

I trust you recall our numerous meetings in Baghdad and in Washington DC, to discuss matters of mutual interest, when we were both Vice Presidents of our respective countries. Today I address you not as the President of the United States, but as a human. The horrific images and stories from Gaza Strip are surely clear to you. Hundreds and hundreds of children have been killed and injured; the numbers of women children , and disabled and elderly people ...all killed by the hour. The systematic attacks carried by the Israeli forces in the last few days against the innocent civilian population is nothing less than a crime of genocide being perpetrated in front of the whole world. Giving a free hand to the Israelis in Gaza and the occupied territories is neither fair, just nor wise. Mr President, today the whole world is watching and waiting a fair and just stance from you. Therefore, I appeal to you as a friend, as human , as a father ...to reconsider your position to put an end to the mass slaughter in Gaza and recognise the Palestinians’ humanity. Finally Mr president Collective punishment , killing Palestinians civilians either by air raids or by Deprivation food , water , power ...etc ...is a recipe for Genocide , surely wise people in no way willing to be partner in this crime . سيادة جوزيف بايدن رئيس الولايات المتحدة الامريكية واشنطن دي سي بعد التحية لابد إنك تتذكر سيادة الرئيس كاتب هذا الرسالة طارق الهاشمي نائب رئيس جمهورية العراق السابق ، وقد التقينا مرارا في بغداد وواشنطن وناقشنا مواضيع ذات اهتمام مشترك وكانت نقاشاتنا في حينه صريحة ومفيدة للطرفين . اليوم لا اخاطبك كرئيس للولايات المتحدة الامريكية ، بل كانسان ، ولا شك لدي انك على اطلاع تام بالمشهد المأساوي والقصص المحزنة التي تروى عن احداث غزة ، ان مئات المواطنين المدنيين الابرياء من الاطفال والنساء والشيوخ وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة يقتلون يومياً ، وهذه ببساطة جريمة ابادة جماعية ترتكبها القوات الاسرائيلية المعتدية بشكل منهجي سافر امام انظار العالم اجمع ، ان اطلاق يد اسرائيل في العدوان على غزة ليس عدلا ولا انصافاً ولا حكيماً . السيد الرئيس العالم اجمع ، يتابع بالم هذه الاحداث المأساوية في غزة ويتوقع منك ان تتخذ موقفا عادلاً ومنصفا لوضع حد للمجزرة الجماعية التي ترتكبها اسرائيل بحق اناس ابرياء ، وانا اناشدك كصديق ان تراجع موقفك وان تراعي لاهالي فلسطين امنهم وانسانيتهم . واخيرا سيادة الرئيس فان العقاب الجماعي المفروض على اهالي غزة ، والقتل المنهجي سواء بالقصف بالطائرات او بالحرمان من الماء والطعام والكهرباء وحبة الدواء هي وصفة للابادة الجماعية والتي بالتأكيد لن يتطلع الى المشاركة فيها انسان عاقل وحكيم . مع تقديري طارق الهاشمي VP of Iraq 2006-2014.
